Welcome to Seacliffe Stud! Gary Seaton and Mark Ratcliffe are the founders of Seacliffe Stud, a smallholding based in Goring-by-Sea, West Sussex specialising in breeding and exhibiting quality Mini lop rabbits. 

Here at Seacliffe Stud we've been fortunate to have been provided with our foundation stock from some of the oldest and best established blood lines of minature lops in the United Kingdom.  Without the years of selective breeding and hard work on our foundation lines by other breeders we would have not achieved such amazing results as we have with our rabbits (see show results page!).  

Seacliffe Stud started out in early 2008  following the chance encounter and rescue of a rabbit in our local park. Researching rabbits and breeding in the UK opened our eyes to the world of rabbit showing and we haven't looked back. 

Before thinking about buying any rabbits we spent many months visiting rabbit shows,  working out what breed we liked the look and temperament of. It was clear to us that the breed we loved was the miniature lop.

Initially, like lots of people we liked most of the colours being bred in the mini lop but following some sound advice from different breeders who had been doing well on the show table for many years (and an intro to genetics!) we decided to focus on Black and Blue Otter, Black Self and Orange. We knew that our line of otters also carried sable so we've more recently been running on some babies in sable, smoke and REW.  

Over the last 2 years we've been very fortunate that our hard work and dedication has led to many of our rabbits taking Best of Breeds, Best Lops and even Best In Show on a number of occassions!
